Initial efforts - which aped popular applications such as IM but locked customers into a proprietary service create by the operator - floundered, this one looks like a winner though.

Expect these sorts of partnerships to become more and more frequent. I certainly expect next year’s Mobile World Congress to be dominated by mobile services. Yes, product launches will make up the quantity of announcements but the headlines will be all about next gen mobile services.
